Petrus, known as Ladoza in the music industry was born in the early 70s in Temba (Hammanskraal). He started music at the age of 15, started as a dancer.
As time went by he began to write his own songs. He then met a friend, Daniel Nkuna, together they formed Twin-Brothers. He became popular in his hometown when he started to imitate Michael Jackson’s songs. At the age of 17 he was chosen by his schoolteacher to represent the school at an event where invited.
He gained a lot of exposure after that event; he then joined a band called Mag-net as a backing vocalist. He was later made a lead vocalist for the band, he performed at weddings, parties etc. After the band disbanded he was approached another band owner to join his band as a lead singer. He then started to perform the songs he wrote. One of his bass guitarists was Mr. Faxa Dube who played a big role in shaping him. He grew under the guidance of Faxa. Faxa has produced the likes of Winnie Mashaba, Solly Moholo, Oleseng, Matlakala etc.
At his hometown he shared the stage with Dr Malinga, Prince Morgan, Sister Betina etc. Selling their music on the street. By 1994 he then joined the mix, the very same. A record journalist spotted him while he was performing at Pretoria Show. He was interviewed and later he appeared on the paper. In 2006 he opened his mini studio, where he recorded his own music and helped other artists community studios played his music. Warm hands in the industry welcomed him. He produced many artists under his label (Khubis Productions). 2013 he appeared on Daily Sun the journalist wrote (Ladoza can cook up lekker sounds). The very same 2013 Tshwane Sun Newspapers visited him at his studio, he appeared on their Newspaper: The journalist wrote (Hammitown tapping on Hollywood’s door). 2016 he then met Mr RT Matoro who was impressed by Ladoza’s talent and took him under his wings.
